Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro, what a cast for a movie. But could you imagine these two guys who hails from two different generations known for their stellar performances for completely different genres came together to act in a feel-good movie.
A subtle fact, I am a huge admirer of feel-good movies simply because it gives you a way out from the normal hustle of your life and more importantly teaches you how to deal with greater problems in a simplest way possible. Though the genre seems like a real simple concept believe me, once you start to explore the movies you will flattered with its diverse stories.
Now, coming back to the movie, a story which amalgamates two different generations and their aspirations in life in a really sweet way. When I first heard of this movie, I was unaware of Robert’s film career but he struck me with a blow with his performance in the movie, remember I said they have stellar performances in other genres, try to look into that too.
I have watched this movie multiple times simply because it calms me, I would like to believe that I am kind of a person who is really serious about a lot of things in life and think over them but it is my way out of it. If you are someone who is going through a lot in your life and especially in your career you must give this movie a try. Not because it is good to watch or it will lighten your mood, but simply because it will give you a perspective to look at the things in a broader manner. The two generations shown in this movie have their own sorrows and emptiness, but they are seeking help and that’s what we need to do as individuals, if we are over-burdening ourselves with our own expectations, we deserve to share it with someone and to seek comfort in that conversation.
Life is a journey we all need to cover alone what will matter at the end of the line is the feeling that you were there for people you have helped along to complete theirs!
