With the cast it has the movie without any story or advertisement made a lot of buzz worldwide. We all knew that with the likes of these actors a decent director could make a movie of any genre and make it a masterpiece, no doubt that a rom-com, a thriller or a drama would have been a legit display of everyone’s talent and made lots of bucks on box-office. But hats-off to the creators of the movie that they chose this genre and made something unimaginable.
Best actors of their time are acting in this movie and irrespective of their stature and reputation each one of them tried their best not to overdo or shadow someone else’s performance. I completely understand how difficult it would have been for many of them not to tamper with the director’s vision and solely dedicate to their idea of this movie.
What is this movie?
Many a times we have witnessed that a multi-star cast movie not performing well on the silver screen and on the other hand we have movies from Marvel, who produces movies we all wait for. This movie has that aura of a marvel movie with the similar vibe but the stakes are completely different, it is not just the end of the world but also to deal with current generation, who are very easily manipulated due to social media. Just as that, it also consists of a wonderful story line and exemplary performances which are true to their characters and does not shine over others.
The plot of the movie is very obvious the world is ending, how? The comet of size Mount Everest is going to hit the Earth’s surface in a distant time, the students and professor who observed this has educated the authorities about it.
What happens later will bring you to the next part.
You can keep your hopes really high while watching this movie, I guarantee you will not be disappointed, the storyline is so smooth that it won’t feel disconnected even for a frame and it deals with so many social issues we are currently facing.
Don’t get all judgy, it’s not that kind of boring movie about youth’s righteousness, but it is full of sarcasm and dark humor, now, why did I brought up this point of our generation, because how we are treating ourselves, and that is what has been displayed in this movie so fluently.
Although it is catastrophic movie but it has a lot of twists and turns in the plot where you will feel frustrated and irritated that what the hell is happening and is that even possible, but my friend when we finally realize that all of this shit has been happening with us all this time it will fill you with rage and that’s what this movie does with you. It angers you, makes you realize the governance of current politics and leaves you. When you are done with the movie it will make you question, whether we are a developed specie or just taking a U-turn. But try to enjoy the pun and all the sarcasm in the movie.
